Certain materials are not accepted as household waste at the event. Please view the list of acceptable and unacceptable materials under the Household Hazardous Waste tab on the on the Board of Health website – www.bedfordma.gov/health or call the Board of Health for this information.

In an effort to be efficient and to keep costs down, we ask you to come to the event with at least 10 gallons or 10 pounds of waste materials. That is the minimum per car for which we are charged. You can reach this amount by bringing your neighbors' household hazardous wastes to the event along with yours. Please remember these safety tips: ensure waste containers are secured for transport; never mix chemicals; store different items in different boxes; always leave materials in their original containers; and do not smoke while handling or transporting materials.
