JM Electrical Completes Control System Project at Hanscom Air Force Base Middle School

ISO 9001 certified experts in HVAC system installations maintained quality control in project in Lincoln, Massachusetts

Lynnfield, MA – August 1, 2016 – JM Electrical Company, Inc., the leader in advanced automated building system installations, today announced that it has completed project operations at the Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) Middle School, an 85,000 square foot development. The company installed control wiring for all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment in the building including its Hot Water System, Chilled Water System, Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Terminal Boxes.

“We are pleased to have been chosen to install an advanced HVAC system at Hanscom Middle School, and to note that the project has been completed on time and on budget,” said John Guarracino, Project Manager at JM Electrical. “It is rewarding to have concluded a project that will continue contribute to the many efforts put forth in sustainability by the middle school, which the students and staff can make use of for years to come.”

HAFB Middle School is an environmentally friendly building with systems including photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting, solar hot water, and a high performance heating, ventilation and air conditioning system installed by JM Electrical. The project began in December 2015, and is now up and running to improve the learning environment for incoming students.

“It was beneficial to work with JM Electrical on the installation of the advanced automation system, which will increase energy efficiency in the building and ensure the optimal learning environment for the students of Hanscom Middle School,” said Jon Braley, President of J&J Contractors. “We were pleased to have worked with such an accomplished team to get the job done.”

The state-of-the-art facility was required to meet 21st century learning standards, and designed to encourage students to make the most of their learning experience as well as maintain a sustainable environment. With the help of JM Electrical’s advanced automation system installation, the school will be able to continue to meet that goal.
