MCC Biotechnology Programs Receive Highest Industry Rating
Biotechnology Technician degree & certificate programs receive Platinum endorsement from MA Biotechnology Education Foundation

Middlesex Community College’s Biotechnology Technician degree and certificate programs have received a Platinum endorsement – the highest rating – from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation’s (MassBioEd) 2017 Biotechnology Endorsement Program.
“This endorsement from the Massachusetts Biotechnology Education Foundation is certainly an honor,” said Middlesex President James C. Mabry. “Biotechnology is an economic engine powering the Commonwealth, and the college works hard to ensure our graduates are prepared to meet the workforce needs of our partners in the region.”
“We are pleased to have our Biotechnology programs recognized with the highest endorsement from MassBioEd,” said Kathleen Sweeney, Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM). “It validates the work our Biotechnology coordinator and faculty do on behalf of the program and our students. It also highlights the valuable work faculty members do to collaborate with our industry partners in preparing our students for the workforce.”
