MCC's 2023 Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in-person at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium

Middlesex Community College is excited to celebrate the 51st Commencement in the college’s history. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in-person at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, as well as with a live-stream by Lowell Telemedia Center (LTC).

“Every year, it is an honor and a privilege to witness the incredible achievement of our students as they graduate from Middlesex,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “Commencement allows us to gather as a community to focus on the celebration of the dedication and resiliency students have demonstrated in earning their education, providing us the opportunity to pay respect to the tremendous diversity and lived experiences of those crossing the stage. We are thrilled to continue to offer an in-person ceremony and return to a college-wide, one-day event so we can all be together on this special day.”

Two MCC students – Sohana Hasan and Christian North – will represent their classmates as this year’s commencement speakers. Hasan is a Liberal Arts major from Waltham, while North is a Mechanical Engineering student from Arlington. State Auditor Diana DiZoglio will address the graduating 2023 class as this year’s Distinguished Alumna.

MCC is proud to have played a role in helping them discover their paths and pursue their dreams, and we look forward to seeing where their journeys lead them next.”
