Five Middlesex Community College Music students performed as part of “Piano Men – The Music of Elton & Billy,” the MCC Foundation’s spring fundraiser, held recently at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Four student instrumentalists – Mason Borsini (percussion) of Pepperell; Margaleet Katzenblickstein (cello) of Westford; Robin Panariti (French horn) of Reading; and Em Russell (bassoon) of Dracut – played in the 30-piece orchestra, conducted by Assistant Professor of Music Orlando Cela.

Voice student Heather Demers of Dracut joined “Piano Men” singer/pianist Joe Boucher on Elton John’s duet, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”
