Start a career in advanced manufacturing with Middlesex Community College’s Engineering Technology - Precision Machining Certificate Program.

Enrollment is now open for this innovative, nine-month evening program. Fall-semester classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 4, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

“The precision-machining industry continues to be a strong employer in the region,” said Kathleen Sweeney, MCC Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. “This certificate program prepares students for a variety of in-demand, entry-level employment opportunities with manufacturers – including those serving aeronautics, medical-device and robotics industries.”

Classes in this 27-credit program meet from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Students will gain skills in mathematics, communications, technical problem-solving and general machining. Plus, 300 hours of hands-on precision-machining training at Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s state-of-the-art Machining Lab is built into the program.
