MCC’s Fall College Transfer Fairs Help Students Explore Next Steps
MCC will host two transfer fairs this fall to introduce students to a variety of colleges and universities.

In addition to helping students of all ages enter the workforce, Middlesex Community College offers a strong starting point for students looking to continue their education at four-year institutions. Middlesex will host two transfer fairs this fall to introduce students to a variety of colleges and universities.
“Transfer Fairs are one of the most informative and important opportunities for all MCC students who are exploring transfer options,” said Rina Tenore, MCC’s Coordinator of Transfer. “It gives them the chance to connect directly and in-person with college counselors from a variety of four-year universities. While these events are all about exploring next steps, one of my key goals is to encourage students to complete their degree here at MCC, and to highlight how staying and graduating from MCC can provide the greatest benefits for their academic and transfer success. Meet New England’s colleges, explore your options, and discover where your MCC journey can take you!”
During each fair, students have opportunities to meet with admissions representatives from over 40 institutions. Attendees can learn about the four-year schools’ offerings and requirements for transferring after they graduate from Middlesex.
Admissions representatives are experts on their school’s information and a resource to MCC students as they explore their options. Meeting with representatives helps students get a better sense of how selective and competitive institutions are, as well as know important deadlines and scholarship information.

MCC assists students in transferring to four-year colleges and universities across New England and nationwide each year. With articulation agreements and MassTransfer, MCC makes the transfer process as easy as possible.
By starting at Middlesex, students can save thousands on tuition costs by completing their general education requirements before attending their transfer institution. Students gain early exposure to their field of interest with courses, hands-on experiences, and networking opportunities in just the first two years of their academic journey.

The Fall transfer fairs will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bedford Campus Center on Monday, October 26 and in the Lowell Cowan Center Cafeteria on Tuesday, October 27.
“MCC’s transfer fairs get you one step closer to finding your dream school once you complete your time at MCC,” said Nick Cloutier, MCC’s Coordinator of Transfer. “This is an excellent opportunity to explore your options and find the school that is the best fit for you. It’s never too early to start the transfer process!”
Throughout the Fall, Middlesex will also host transfer information sessions tailored to different types of students, including Dual Enrollment, MassTransfer, and for students who have 30+ credits and beyond, according to Tenore. Tenore and Cloutier will also hold tabling sessions to meet with students, answer questions, and share the many transfer initiatives available to them.
