
A World of Music, Middlesex Community College’s 2013 fall concert series, begins with a performance by virtuoso pianist Artem Belogurov, at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in the MCC Concert Hall (Building 6) on the Bedford campus, 591 Springs Road. The concert is free and open to the public.
Belogurov will perform a recital featuring late-19th and early-20th century New England composers. Works by John Knowles Paine, Arthur Foote, Margaret Ruthven Lang, Ethelbert Nevin and Lowell-born George Chadwick will be performed.

Other events in MCC’s free A World of Music fall concert series include the Boston Saxophone Quartet in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3; and an MCC Faculty Recital featuring Mark Berger, Adam Levin, Carmen Rodriguez-Peralta and Anna Ward at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22. Both concerts will be held in MCC’s Concert Hall on the Bedford campus.

A fall MCC Student Recital will also be held. Student instrumentalists and singers will perform at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the MCC Concert Hall on the Bedford campus.
