The Middlesex CC Foundation Announces Return of Celebrity Forum
The MCC Foundation is proud to announce the return of the Celebrity Forum, featuring Darlene Love

The Middlesex Community College Foundation is proud to announce the return of the Celebrity Forum, featuring Darlene Love – an Oscar and Grammy award-winning singer, actress and author. The event will take place on Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
A donor reception will start off the event at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the 8 p.m. performance. Proceeds from the event provide support for scholarships for Middlesex students.
“One of the greatest barriers our students face in getting their education is financial, and the MCC Foundation continues to play a vital role in helping to ease the burden of not being able to afford college for so many,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “The event will be a great way to bring the community together to celebrate the success of Middlesex students. I am looking forward to witnessing a tremendous performance and having the opportunity to speak to this amazing talent about her lived experience and professional journey.”

Over the years, Middlesex has hosted 20 Celebrity Forums and two spring fundraisers. After the 2020 event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MCC Foundation held a virtual event in 2021. The college is looking forward to once again celebrating in-person.
“We are ecstatic to bring back our Celebrity Forum and welcome such an enigmatic performer in Darlene Love to the college,” said Judy Burke, MCC’s Executive Director of Advancement. “The work that the MCC Foundation does is critical to our students’ success, providing them with the funds to attend and complete their education. We are so thankful to all of our donors for their incredible generosity and support, and we are so looking forward to coming together for an exciting evening of music and cultural enrichment – all in the name of student scholarship!”
