Middlesex CC to Host Information Session for Veterans
Learn about the admissions process, campus resources, and how to transfer to UMass Lowell for your BA – 2 p.m. Wed, June 19, Lowell campus

Middlesex Community College welcomes veterans! The college is hosting a Veteran Information Session at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, in the Federal Building Assembly Room on the Lowell camps, 50 Kearney Square.
At the Info Session, veterans can meet with representatives from MCC’s Admission Office to learn about the application process. Vets can also explore the resources and campus services available to military-connected students through the Veterans Resource Center. Representatives from UMass Lowell will also be on hand to discuss transfer options for student veterans who elect to start their degree at MCC and earn a bachelor’s degree at UML.
“It was challenging to reconnect to civilian life when I first got out of the Air Force,” said recent MCC graduate Michael Milisci, of Nashua, N.H. “But getting involved at Middlesex definitely helped me to adjust to the change.

“There are a ton of student resources, like the Math and Writing Centers, that helped with my homework. And I participated in a few extracurricular activities – like acting in a play, leading the Gamers Guild, and other clubs – that often got me outside my comfort zone.”
