Middlesex CC Offering FREE GED and HiSET Classes in Waltham
MCC is now offering FREE GED and HiSET evening courses at its new Waltham Adult Learning Center

Middlesex Community College, in partnership with Waltham Public Schools, has opened an Adult Learning Center (ALC) satellite location in Waltham. FREE noncredit evening courses for adult learners (ages 16 and up) who live and work in Massachusetts will be available.
Free Adult Basic Education classes are offered from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at McDevitt Middle School, 75 Church St., Waltham. ALC classes are small, supportive, and provide instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies.
To be eligible for MCC’s Waltham ALC program, students must attend a registration and placement-testing session.

Supported by a grant from the Massachusetts Dept. of Elementary & Secondary Education, MCC’s Waltham ALC assists qualified students who want to prepare for high school equivalency exams (GED or HiSET), college entrance, job-training programs or other career opportunities.
