Middlesex Community College Offers Graphic Design Program

Considering a career in graphic design? Consider Middlesex!

Enrollment is still open for Middlesex Community College’s Graphic Design degree program. Classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 9, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Students enrolled in MCC’s Graphic Design program gain the knowledge and skills to design and produce professional-level projects. The program prepares students to enter the graphic design workplace or transfer to a four-year degree program.

Graduates of the program are prepared to use the creative process to plan and execute their fine and graphic design work, demonstrate their knowledge of formal and expressive aspects of art. They are also prepared to create effective visual communications that are responsive to the needs of clients and their targeted audience, articulate concepts an theoretical ideas in graphic design, and use a variety of art media.

Students in the program will complete a professional portfolio of work suitable to show potential employers. Techniques are taught on state-of-the-art Macintosh equipment and software packages.
