Middlesex Hosts Paralegal Careers Information Session

Middlesex Community College’s recent Paralegal Career Night drew more than 60 attendees to the Bedford campus to learn about paralegal career opportunities in the public and private sectors.

“Every year, MCC’s Paralegal Studies Program, in cooperation with the Admissions Office, and Academic, Career & Transfer Centers, invites respected practicing paralegals to the college to speak to the community and to our students,” explained Deborah Walsh, Assistant Dean of Business, Entrepreneurship & Legal Studies.

“These professionals let the audience know what working as a paralegal is really like – from mundane daily duties to managing complex, ground-breaking litigation,” continued Walsh. “This real-world connection provides the audience with a glimpse into the life of a paralegal, and allows them to evaluate whether this might be the right career choice.”
