Order (Almost) Up: b. good Looks to Open Next Week in Bedford

The 'healthy fast food' concept grill is targeting June 12 as the opening for its Great Road restaurant.

Burgers in Bedford are about to get healthier.

At least that’s the hook cast by b.good restaurant, slated to open next week at 168 Great Road in Bedford.

The growing chain, started by two Boston-area guys, obtained its licensing approval last month and is targeting a June 12 opening for its Bedford restaurant.

But some locals will get a taste of b.good’s burgers even before the eatery officially opens.

b.good will be serving up 500 burgers at Bedford High School today, June 4, according to co-owner Jon Olinto.

Getting b.good burgers into the schools is a creative marketing technique designed to expose future customers—and customers likely to tell their parents—to the burgers made from local, grass-fed beef.

And it won’t stop with BHS. Olitino says he expects b.good will serve burgers at the John Glenn Middle School next Friday, two days after the scheduled restaurant opening.

The Bedford store will be their 11th; but 10th company-owned for Olinto and business partner Anthony Ackil, who have started franchising b.good. They’ll soon open stores in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine.

Prior to the anticipated June 12 open in Bedford, the local b.good expects to host a "family" party next Tuesday, June 11, in which newsletter members will be invited to check out the eatery before it officially opens to the public.

As well, b.good will be hosting a ""Cousin" Contest" in which someone can win free burgers for life at the Bedford location. Get the details here.
