Police: A Wedding Crasher and a Hit and Run
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 6
12:10 a.m.- While completing a directed patrol of Bedford High School, an officer observed four youths on the basketball courts and asked them to leave the area. The officer also observed toilet paper in the trees near the student parking lot.
9:38 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to report their cellphone was missing. The individual returned to the police station later in the morning to report the phone had been located.

2:28 p.m.- Police recieved a call reporting a water main break on Willard Circle. The Department of Public Works was notified.
10:37 p.m.- Police recieved a call reporting an incident earlier in the evening when the caller had been driving near Route 3 and had struck an animal. BPD notified the State Police.

11:41 p.m.- A resident of Concord Road reported a suspicious person had walked into a wedding party at the location and seemed disoriented. The individual was not known to anyone at the party and had been escorted off the property. Responding officers searched the area, but the individual was gone upon their arrival.
Sunday, Oct. 7
3:37 a.m.- Police responded to a call reporting a hit and run on Concord Road where a car had run into a tree. The caller described the car as a possible tan Toyota sedan. The vehicle was gone when responding officers arrived at the scene. Upon searching the area the next day, police found debris that indicated the vehicle was a Ford. Area police departments were notified in case they came across a vehicle matching the description.
6:04 a.m.- A resident of Sweetwater Avenue reported a dog had been barking at her neighbor's house for the past two hours. Officers responded, but there was no barking when they arrived.
5:00 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a low hanging wire on Wagon Wheel Road at Old Billerica Road. Responding officers determined it was a phone line. BPD notified Verizon.
7:45 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a vehicle had hit a deer on Springs Road and had continued on. BPD notified the Department of Public Works to remove the deer.
9:57 p.m.- A resident of Loomis Street reported political lawn signs had been removed from her front lawn without her permission.
