Police: Fireworks and Suspiciously Parked Cars
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 5
12:14 p.m.- A resident of Bedford Villiage called BPD to report a dump truck was parked in the middle of the street near 56 Dunster Road. An officer responded and reported the dump truck was leaving the area upon his arrival.

12:53 p.m.- Policed received a call reporting an individual had lost their wedding ring at one of the Bedford High School athletic fields.
5:18 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a vehicle being operated erraticly on Burlington Road heading into town in the area of Route 3. Officers responded, but upon searching the area could not locate the vehicle.

5:37 p.m.- A caller reported a disabled vehicle in front of 94 Paige Road. An officer responded and confirmed the vehicle was out of the way and that AAA was responding.
6:34 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Winchester Drive reporting sounds that sounded like gunshots coming from across the street. The caller reported she saw two young men running from the area. Responding officers found that the noise had come from fireworks that had been set off.
6:52 p.m.- A resident of Russett Road called BPD to report a vehicle that was parked on the street and had remained stationary for a prolonged period of time. An officer responded and determine the vehicle was unoccupied.
8:42 p.m.- Police recieved a call from a resident of Dunster Road reporting a suspicious person standing in their yard. Officers could not locate anyone in the area.
10:13 p.m.- Police recieved a call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked outside 119 Great Road that had been stationary for a long period of time with the motor running. Officers responded and spoke with the owner of the vehicle, who lived at the residence.
