Police ID Cyclist Who Died on Bikeway

Bedford Police have identified the man who died on the Minuteman Bikeway on Sunday as Perry Stone, 52, of Arlington.

Emergency responders were unable to revive Stone, whom a jogger found slumped over a guard rail along the bikeway in the area of Wiggins Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. on June 23.

Exactly what happened to Stone still remains unclear, said Bedford Police Lt. Scott Jones.

"The Medical Examiner's Office and the State Police came out. They are trying to figure out what happened," Jones said.
