Police Log: A Pickup Truck Towing a Snowboarder

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Friday, Feb. 8

12:24 a.m.- The Bedford Police Department received a call reporting a suspicious vehicle parked on the corner of Pond Circle and Autumn Drive. The responding officer reported the motorist was sent on his way.

11:35 a.m.- Police received a call from a customer at Northside Convenience reporting a male yelling at him and threatening his life. The responding officer reported it was a verbal altercation and everything had calmed down.

3:56 p.m.- Police received a call reporting a pickup truck on Washington Street pulling an individual behind it on a board behind it. The responding officer reported he found the vehicle parked in a driveway on Washington Street with no one around it.

6:24 p.m.- A caller reported the smell of natural gas at 14 Sunset Road. Responding emergency personnel reported the slight smell of natural gas in the area. National Grid was notified.

9:29 p.m.- Police received a call from a DPW plow driver reporting approximately eight people walking on Pine Hill Road about halfway between Springs Road and North Road. The responding officers reported he checked the area, and the pedestrians were gone. 

10:33 p.m.- Police received a call reporting three juveniles in the roadway who were refusing to move. The responding officer reported he advised them to stay out of the road.
