Police Log: Suspicious People in Cars and on Bikes
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, May 24
- At 8:16 a.m., police received a call from Sweetwater Avenue about an issue with tree workers. The caller was concerned that the work may be a hazard for children walking to school. Police spoke to workers who said they stop work when children walk by.
- At 9:26 a.m., police took a report of an attempted fraud or scam.
- At 1:34 p.m., a juvenile walked into the station to speak to an officer about being harassed on Twitter.
- At 6:16 p.m., an employee at a Great Road business reported stolen scratch tickets.
Saturday, May 25
- At 2:51 a.m., an employee at a Great Road gas station reported that a customer had gone into the restroom and not come out. Police responded and found the person had fallen asleep.
- At 12:16 p.m., police responded to Page and Brooksbie roads for a report of an erratic driver who was speeding and crossed over the yellow lines. Police checked the area and did not find the driver.
- At 12:55 p.m., a Beverly Road resident called police after a teenager dropped off two white trash bags near the person’s home. Police found the trash bags, which contained empty cans.

- At 10:01 a.m., police responded to Concord Road concerning suspicious males in a mini van parked in the St. Michael’s parking lot. The caller was concerned that the men were going to break into vehicles. An officer spoke to the men who were lost because of a GPS problem. The officer gave the men directions back to Route 128.
- At 5:25 p.m., police responded to Genetti Circle concerning a person reportedly with a handgun. An officer found the person had an airsoft gun and spoke to the person.
- At 10:10 p.m., an employee at a Great Road business called police about an attempted shoplifting.
Monday, May 27
- At 9:25 a.m., police received a call about a car being vandalized on Middlesex Turnpike.
- At 8:07 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm at a Great Road business. Police found that an employee was locked in a store. Police contacted a manager who drove to the business and unlocked the door.
- At 10 p.m., a driver on Great Road called police to report another driver “all over the road” and had almost caused accidents. Police pulled over the motorist in question and found everything was OK.
Wednesday, May 29

- At 8:47 a.m., police responded to Mudge Way regarding a fight between two Bedford High School students. Police filed a report on the incident.
- At 12:07 p.m., police received a call from Mudge Way about a barking dog in a motor vehicle. Police found the dog was not in distress, the weather was cool and the windows were down.
Thursday, May 30
- At 2:09 a.m., police received a call of suspicious people in a parked vehicle on Middlesex Turnpike. An officer spoke to the people who were working in the area and living in their car while they get back on their feet.
- At 1:22 p.m., police received a call from Old Burlington Road about a suspicious man on a bicycle wearing beige pants, a rain parka, a camouflage hat and one rubber glove. An officer was unable to locate the man.
