Police: Missing Trash Barrels and Wallets

The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Thursday, Oct. 18

1:20 a.m.- Police received a call reporting a suspicious light colored vehicle parked on the side of Independence Road. Responding officers reported the operator of the vehicle was listening to music.

6:28 a.m.- Police received a call from the Facilities Department reporting a suspicious vehicle parked behind Town Hall. Officers responded and confirmed it was the Town Clerk arriving early for work.

10:02 a.m.- An individual came into the Bedford Police Department to report his wallet had been stolen while at the ATM at Middlesex Savings Bank at 186 Great Road. Officers were dispatched, but the reporting party called back to reporting he had found his wallet in his driveway.

12:30 p.m.- Police received a call reporting an unwanted guest at the Bedford Plaza Hotel.

1:07 p.m.- An resident of Old Stagecoach Road came into the station to report one of their trash barrels was missing.

1:58 p.m.- A resident of Chelmsford Road reported a suspicious male was knocking at the door and would not leave. Officers responded and reported they spoke with the individual who reported he was looking for a previous resident of that address.
