Police: Repossessed Cars, Illegal Yard Sales and Loud Laundry
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 21
7:15 a.m.- A resident of Wheeler Drive called BPD to report someone had come to his front door and notified him his car was going to be repossessed. The caller was concerned that the man did not have any paperwork regarding the repossession. Responding officers confirmed that notice of the repossession had been faxed to the caller at an earlier date.
11:26 a.m.- Police recieved a call from a resident of Daniels Drive who reported an unwanted person who was standing on their front lawn, refusing to leave the property. Officers were dispatched but the man was gone upon their arrival.

12:14 p.m.- A Billerica resident informed police that there is a sedan frequently parked on Springs Road where the street narrows. The caller said he thought the car was a hazard to traffic. Officers looked around the area the caller specified but there was no car parked there.
3:18 p.m.- Police received a call from T.J. Maxx that a woman had left the store who appeared to be on drugs. The caller was concerned the woman could not drive. Police responded to call and located the car. The woman explained she had been having an arguement on her cell phone.

11:33 p.m.- A resident of Glenridge Drive reported that an individual had been standing under a streetlight, appearing to remain standing at attention, and had not moved for half an hour. Officers checked the area but did not find anyone.
Saturday, Sept. 22
12:17 a.m.- A resident of Springs Lane called police to report a strange vehicle parked at her neighbor's house and that she was hearing strange loud noises from within the house. The responding officer spoke with the residents and confirmed that someone was just moving in.
9:29 a.m.- A caller reported slippery driving conditions on the Route 3 southbound ramp at Route 62. Responding officers checked the ramp and determined it was hazardous. MassHighway was notified.
2:08 p.m.- Police received an anonymous tip that a resident of Earl Road has had two yard sales in the last month, a violation of town by-laws. Police notified the caller that this is an issue for Code Enforcement and not the police.
3:28 p.m.- A resident of North Road called the police to report that a suspicious individual wearing a hooded sweatshirt had run through his back yard. Police searched the area but could not find the individual.
3:39 p.m.- Police received an anonymous call reporting that there was a child being treated poorly inside the McDonald's. The caller was concerned for the child's safety. Police responded, but the child was gone by the time they arrived.
10:00 p.m.- Police received a call from the Flatbread Restaurant that a group of kids had come into the restaurant wearing costumes and caused a disturbance. The caller specified that group had left the restaurant in a tan sedan. Police searched the area but could not locate the car or group.
10:19 p.m.- A resident of Ashby Road reported that dogs were barking at her neighbors house. Police responded and confirmed that dogs were barking. No one came to the door when police knocked.
Sunday, Sept. 23
6:48 p.m.- Police received a call from a resident of Concord Road reporting they found an orange cat with a striped tail. The caller agreed to house the cat overnight. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
11:05 p.m.- A resident of Taylor Pond Lane reported a neighbor was doing laundry and was causing a lot of noise. Officers were dispatced, but the caller called back and notified BPD the noise had stopped.
