Police: Strange Sounds From The Garage and Missing Students
The following information was provided by the Bedford Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 28
2:12 a.m.- A resident of Hayden Lane reported hearing sounds coming from the garage of their home, and recalled leaving the back door of the garage open earlier that evening. Responding officers searched the garage, but found nothing out of place.
9:37 a.m.- A customer at the CVS at 199 Great Road told employees he needed medical help. An employee of the store called the police. Responding officers spoke with the individual and confirmed he was a patient at the Veterans Administration Hospital. The individual was transported to the medical center.

11:50 a.m.- Police recieved a call from John Glenn Middle School reporting a special needs students had run away from staff at the school. Officers responded and set up a perimeter of the area. Police received a call from a Woodmoor Road resident reporting the student was in their yard. The student then ran to Evans Avenue where he was located by police and transported home.
1:48 p.m.- BPD received a call from MBTA dispatch reporting a irate and unruly customer attempting to get on a bus at the VA Hospital. Police responded and discovered the man did not have exact change to board the bus, and the driver would not allow him to pay with a Charlie Card. Police transported the individual to CVS so he could get the correct change and take another bus.

4:16 p.m.- A resident of Neillian Street reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked on the road for over 40 minutes. Police responded and spoke with the owner of the vehicle, who informed the officer he was going door to door for MassPirg to talk to people about recycling.
9:49 p.m.- Police received a call reporting an erratic driver in the area of Washington Street. The caller reported the driver had the interior light of his car on and was crossing over the yellow line of the road. Responding officers checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.
10:20 p.m.- Police received a report of a woman walking in the middle of the street in the area of South Road and Washington Street. The responding officer searched the area but could not locate the individual.
