Registration for MCC’s Spring Semester Opens Monday, Nov. 9

Registration for MCC's Spring 2021 and WinterSession is opening on Monday, November 9

Registration for Middlesex Community College’s Spring 2021 and WinterSession is opening on Monday, November 9. In these unprecedented times, students need a plan in place to help them reach their goals and continue their education. For over 20 years, Middlesex has designed award-winning online curriculums that allow students to interact with content, professors and their fellow students in immersive and meaningful ways.

“The college is offering a spring schedule that is once again primarily online, placing safety for all students and faculty first,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s Provost and Vice President of Student and Academic Affairs. “We continue to provide an exceptional online learning experience for our students thanks to the high quality of our instruction and the commitment of our faculty to student success in the online environment.”

At Middlesex, college students can get a better understanding of their path and earn transferable credits; high school students can gain college experience and take advantage of effective online learning platforms; and adult learners can go back to school and upgrade or learn new skills – all while staying healthy and safe at home.

Over three weeks, MCC’s WinterSession covers the same content, maintains the same academic standards, and contains the same number of instructional hours as courses scheduled in the traditional 15-week semester. Students can earn credits in a variety of subjects, including English, science, history, social science, mathematics and more.

WinterSession is a great opportunity for students to stay on track with their academic plans and complete courses during January – before the Spring semester begins, according to Sisson. Because of the condensed format of these courses, students should understand that it will require planning and focus to succeed.

MCC understands that students need to feel financially stable and supported. In addition to freezing tuition for the 2020-2021 academic year, the college offers personalized financial aid counseling, payment plans and a supportive community to help keep students on track.

The Spring semester starts on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. MCC’s WinterSession will run Monday, January 4 through January 22, 2021.
