Man Killed by Snowplow at Bedford VA Hospital Identified
The 60-year-old victim was a resident of hospital property.

A 60-year-old man was struck and killed by a snowplow Sunday night at the Bedford veterans hospital where he is believed to have lived.
The man was identified Monday as Gerald Flynn, a resident of the VA Hospital property, the Middlesex DA's office said.
Flynn was struck by a VA plow truck in the parking lot of the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital just before 5:30 p.m., according to a release from spokesperson John Guilfoil, who represents Bedford Police and Fire. Bedford Police and Fire as well as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Police responded.

Flynn was taken to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead.
The snowplow driver stayed at the scene and made the 911 call, the release said.
