Students Can Explore Next Steps with MCC’s Fall 2022 Offerings

MCC is an affordable and flexible starting point for students looking to jumpstart their careers or kick off their college educations

Middlesex Community College is an affordable and flexible starting point for students looking to jumpstart their careers or kick off their college educations. In the Fall 2022 semester, students of all ages and experiences can come to Middlesex to explore academic and career paths, complete general education requirements, and gain early experience in their field of interest.

“We have a variety of options available at Middlesex that make getting an education easier for our students, while fitting classes into their schedules,” said Bryan Wint, MCC’s Assistant Dean, Pathway & Academic Advising. “This Fall, we have on-campus, online, hybrid and hyflex course options and accelerated eight-week Mini-mester sessions in addition to the traditional 15-week semester. We are able to work with students to guide them toward their best options and what they need to do to be successful in their academic and professional pursuits.”

As she prepares to start college, Sara Buckley, of Wilmington, is looking to take online classes while working part-time. She will start her classes at Middlesex in the Summer – before she even graduates from high school – and is looking forward to the Fall semester to complete more college prerequisites while exploring a possible career path.

“I’ve always had an interest in Fashion Merchandising and MCC’s program is allowing me to finish my general requirements while also taking classes to learn more about the industry,” she said. “I’m excited to get a better sense of what I’d be doing working in the field and how to get there. MCC also has a lot of internship opportunities that I want to try.”

MCC will also offer four accelerated sessions over the Summer semester. Students can choose between three-, five- and eight-week options, starting on Tuesday, May 31.

Please note that Middlesex requires all students to be vaccinated in order to come to campus, as of January 2022. Students who are unvaccinated can still choose to take online classes and access online resources and student support services.
