For millenia humankind has used symbols to impart meaning to the world. They span the spectrum from the cave paintings that may have shown where the best hunting grounds were to the letters you are reading now.
The same is true in the Grange. We use symbols to designate each officer. Some of these symbols are in the accompanying picture. Can you guess which officer might use each of those symbols? If you want the answers, come check out our Installation of Officers. It will give you a great introduction to the Grange.
