At Middlesex Community College’s Spring 2023 Celebrity Forum on Tuesday, May 16, the Temptations and the Four Tops performed at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. MCC welcomed the two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends to raise funds for student scholarships and celebrate an evening of music.

“We are thrilled to have welcomed The Temptations and The Four Tops for another terrific evening of music and philanthropy at this year’s Celebrity Forum,” said Phil Sisson, MCC’s President. “Our fundraising events are a critical source of support to our students and our mission of providing them with affordable access to a high-quality education. Thanks to our generous donors and community partners, we are able to continue offering students financial assistance that enables them to complete their education and pursue their dreams.”

Hosted by the Middlesex Community College Foundation, the event was the 23rd Celebrity Forum to bring educational and cultural enrichment to Greater Lowell area residents. TJX Companies, Inc. has been a proud Presenting Sponsor of MCC’s spring fundraisers since 1999.

The Four Tops’ first Motown hit “Baby I Need Your Loving” made them stars and their sixties track record on the label is indispensable to any retrospective of the decade. Their success has continued over many decades, as it does still today.

“Our annual Celebrity Forum presents Middlesex with an opportunity to show the community many of the ways in which MCC transforms lives and futures,” said Sherri McCormack, MCC’s Dean of Advancement. “The event with the Temptations and the Four Tops helped us to raise much needed funds for student scholarships while hosting an evening of music and celebration.”
