The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT), through the MA250 campaign, announced the state’s participation in “Sharing the Spirit of America,” an initiative inviting cities and towns across Massachusetts to host local readings and community events as part of a synchronized national moment at 6 pm ET on July 8, 2026.As the birthplace of the American Revolution and the site of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, Massachusetts is uniquely positioned to join this national moment. &nbsp;The “Sharing the Spirit of America” initiative is led by America250 Commission partners and represents a coordinated national effort to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the first public readings of the Declaration.Join us at Draper Park 244 Main St Milford 6 PM

Join us for an evening of stand-up comedy at its highest technical and artistic level to support individuals in recovery. Reckless Comedy is a "laugh-until-your-sides-hurt" night where no topic is off the table. Proceeds from the show will be going to the Milford First Congregational Church. They have been paramount in giving the recovery community a space to heal and grow. Get ready to cackle, cry-laugh and leave feeling excited to be part of this crazy thing called life. It's a sober event, but we're going hard. There will be food and drinks provided. Alcohol will not be served out of respect to those in recovery. All are welcome! Please come if you are in recovery and love comedy, or support recovery and love comedy. $20 dollar tickets! Come at 7pm for a social hour! The comedy show will kick off at 8.
