The new branch will occupy a high-visibility spot with a drive-thru in the town's central business district, signaling continued investment and potential changes to banking options and foot traffic in Belmont Center.
   

• Beacon Hill Roll Call, Aug. 10-14 (gazettenet.com) — Belmont residents are represented in several major Beacon Hill actions this week, including Sen. Will Brownsberger backing tougher penalties when safety violations injure or kill firefighters.
