$10K Donation To Benefit Beverly's Cove Elementary School Playground

The Bass River Lodge #141 Independent Order of Odd Fellows made the donation to help make the playground more accessible for all children.

BEVERLY, MA — A $10,000 donation will go toward upgrading the Cove Elementary School Playground to make it more inclusive for all students.

The Bass River Lodge #141 Independent Order of Odd Fellows made the donation aimed at improvements so the playground is more accessible, especially for those in the Special Education AIM program.

Members of the Lodge delivered the donation during the May 25 Beverly School Committee meeting.

Past grands Rod Armand, Don Rogers and Bill Palmquist presented the check to Superintendent Sue Charochak and School Committee President Rachael Abell.
