Money-Filled Boxes Cover 128 Off-Ramp When Truck Tips
A truck containing reportedly thousands of dollars worth of coins failed to make the turn in Beverly.
BEVERLY, MA — A truck carrying boxes of reportedly thousands of dollars worth of coins flipped over an off-ramp on Rte. 128, closing the exit for some time Wednesday afternoon.
The Exit 20A ramp was closed on the northbound side after the truck failed to navigate the turn, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said right after noon. Photographers Stanley Forman and Matt Colson posted photos on social media of the money-filled boxes across the ramp, just being the tipped-over truck.
No injuries were reported.
