21-Year-Old Beverly Man Struck and Killed by a Train
Foul play was not a factor, according to authorities.

A 21-year-old Beverly man was struck and killed by a train about 1 a.m. Friday, March 20 at the MBTA’s Prides Crossing commuter rail station in Beverly.
The man was trespassing on the right-of-way on Track 1, according to MBTA police, when he was struck by a Rockport bound train. He was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, according to authorities.
Foul play was not a factor, according to authorities.

Transit Police detectives, troopers assigned to the Essex County District Attorney’s office, Beverly Police and Fire repsonded to the scene. Transit Police did not release the man’s name.
