$50K Powerball Tickets Sold In Beverly, Wellesley; Jackpot Rises To $760 Million
If you bought a Quic Pic Powerball ticket in Beverly or Wellesley for Wednesday night's drawing, your numbers might be worth $50,000.

BEVERLY, MA — Powerball players who bought Quic Pic tickets in Beverly and Wellesley should check their numbers carefully after stores in each of those two communities sold $50,000 winners in Wednesday night's drawing.
While there was no grand prize winner, the $50,000 tickets were sold at Fast Freddie's on Dodge Street in Beverly and Wellesley Variety on Forest Street, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
With no grand prize winner, the jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expected to be about $760 million. The cash option prize is an estimated $328.5 million.

At $760 million, this would be the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history.
No one has hit the Powerball since Oct. 11 when a record $1.765 billion jackpot winner was sold in California.

Saturday night's drawing is at 10:59 p.m. with tickets sold until 9:50 at Mass Lottery locations.
Although there was no jackpot winner Wednesday, more than a million winning tickets were sold. They included tickets worth $2 million — the players matched all five white balls and doubled their prizes by playing the Power Play multiplier — sold in Colorado, Georgia and Texas. A ticket sold in California matched all five white balls for a $1 million prize.
Also, the lottery said, eight tickets won $150,000 prizes and 34 won $50,000 prizes, including the tickets sold in Beverly and Wellesley.
