Adult Education Celebrates Students on Their Road to Success

On Thursday, June 4, Beverly Bootstraps held its annual Celebration of Excellence. All of our Adult Education students and their friends and families were invited to attend this event that celebrates their educational successes.

After a buffet dinner, guest speaker Rachel Lopez, a Beverly Bootstraps Adult Ed Alumni, gave a moving talk about her experiences and future success after participating in classes here.

Then, Julia Andrews, Education Supervisor, Amanda Warnock, Adult Education Coordinator, and Andrea Jones, Programs Director presented award certificates to each student. This year, there were 15 ESOL students, 1 Adult Literacy, 10 HiSET Test preparation, and 12 HiSET Diploma students honored. These HiSET Diploma students walked down the aisle in cap and gown to receive their awards, in true graduation style.

Our Adult Education students believe that furthering their education will put them on the road to success and we congratulate them for their hard work and perseverance.
