Affordable Apartment Units Available Through City Lottery

An informational session on the affordable housing lottery will be held later this month.

The city will be holding a housing lottery for affordable housing units at 130 Cabot Street on Oct. 15 at City Hill.

The new construction units are being offered at $1,270 per month (utilities not included).

The units are one bedroom and one bath with approximately 760-square-feet of living space.

There will be an information session on the lottery and the units at City Hall on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m.

Applications for the lottery are being accepted through Oct. 8.

The income qualifications for the units are:

• One-person household: $48,800
• Two-person household: $55,800

Financial documentation is required to participate in the lottery.

Applicant information is subject to verification by the lottery agent and
screening by the project owner including credit check.

People from all communities, including minorities and people with
disabilities, are encouraged to apply.
