BEVERLY, MA — Beverly Hospital marked this Mother's Day by dressing some newborns spending the day in its Special Care Nursery for the occasion.
The hospital shared photos of babies born in time for the holiday to tell their mothers: "I Love You, Mom!"

The newborns in the Beverly nursery embraced this year’s theme of "Mom's Main Squeeze." The theme was used to show affection for the mothers who welcomed them into the world during their first days of life.
The celebration centered on babies receiving care in Beverly Hospital’s Special Care Nursery — a 12-bed, Level IIB nursery that provides advanced medical care for premature infants, multiples, and babies with health issues requiring additional hospital care before going home.
The nursery also supports families during the early days of their children's lives. That includes families whose newborns need more medical attention before they are ready to leave the hospital.
The Mother's Day photos offered a lighter moment for those families while their babies continue receiving care as well as for staff who work in the unit and care for the newborns all year long.
