BEVERLY, MA — Beverly will mark Juneteenth with a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall on June 18 as part of the city's 2025 Juneteenth Celebration.
The event is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. at Beverly City Hall, according to the city.
The celebration will honor Black history, culture and joy. The event recognizes the continued work toward equity and justice.
The city said the observance is tied to its broader commitment to the community.
"In observance of Juneteenth, the City reaffirms its commitment to an inclusive and equitable community," the city said.
Juneteenth is observed across the country as a recognition of Black history and freedom.
