Beverly Team Tops $10K Goal Ahead Of Ride & Stride For Food

Ten Beverly Bootstraps participants have raised more than $10,300 to support local food assistance programs.

BEVERLY, MA — With days to go before Ride & Stride for Food, Team Beverly Bootstraps has already passed its $10,000 fundraising goal to support neighbors facing food insecurity.

The team is set to take part Sept. 27, in the annual event hosted by Three Squares New England at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham. Ride & Stride for Food includes 20-, 50-, and 62.2-mile bike routes, along with a 5K run or walk and a virtual option.

The 10-person team includes Jake Browning, Allison Caffrey, Mo Cerra, Team Dobbins, made up of Matt and Amanda Dobbins, Angela Fanno, Matt Fanno, Owen Hill, Philip Randazzo, Levi Smith and Adryanna Snow.

"We are so grateful to everyone who has joined our team, donated, and helped us reach this goal before event day," said Allison Caffrey, Executive Director of Beverly Bootstraps. "Every dollar raised helps us continue providing nutritious food and critical resources to our neighbors, and we're excited to see how much more we can accomplish together."

Funds raised by the Beverly Bootstraps team directly support the organization's Food Assistance programs, including its Food Pantry and Food Lockers.
