BEVERLY, MA — A Beverly man is celebrating what he said is the most money he has ever won in his life after hitting the "Bigfoot Bucks" for more than $100,000 in the Mass Lottery's new online eInstant game.
John Vincent won a $109,989 prize on a $50 bet.
Vincent claimed his prize (before taxes) at the Mass Lottery's headquarters in Dorchester.
"It's kind of surreal, you know?" Vincent said. "I still can't believe it's happening to me.
"I've never won this much money in my life."
He said he plans on fixing his car and saving his winnings.
Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the Lottery's headquarters in Dorchester.
To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play, and to make a deposit to their Mass Lottery Player account.
