3. Manchester Boating Accident: One Dead, One Missing After Sasparilla Crash (thecricket.com) — A Beverly man has been identified as the victim of a deadly boating accident off Manchester's Singing Beach that also left a Hamilton man missing and another hospitalized. Investigators believe the powerboat Sasparilla likely struck a submerged rock at speed, prompting a massive multi-agency search involving Beverly's harbormaster, fire department, and hospital before the Coast Guard suspended efforts for the missing boater.
4. Historic New England Announces 2026 Summit On The Future Of Preservation, Culture, And Civic Life (nshoremag.com) — Beverly will host the plenary sessions of Historic New England's 2026 Summit at The Cabot from November 12–14, bringing national preservation, design, and civic leaders to town. The three-day event, split between Beverly and Haverhill, will explore how history, architecture, and cultural institutions can strengthen communities, with keynotes, panels, and workshops plus livestream options for those who can't attend in person.
5. Kitchen Table in Beverly Has Closed (blogspot.com) — Beverly diners are losing a popular spot, as Kitchen Table on Cabot Street has quietly closed after a little over a year in business. Known for its scratch cooking and locally sourced ingredients, the restaurant thanked guests, staff, and area farmers in a farewell Instagram post and confirmed its 392 Cabot Street location is now permanently shut.
