Global firm Xylem, Inc. has leased 39,000 square feet of first-class office, lab, and manufacturing space at 100 Cummings Center in Beverly. The newly built out facility, in space formerly occupied by Microsoft, now serves as the headquarters for the water technology company’s flow control business.
Xylem worked directly with Jamie McManus, leasing officer for Cummings Properties, on the transaction. The new Cummings Center site consolidates offices previously located in Gloucester and Woburn.
A spinoff from ITT Corporation, Xylem designs and manufactures pumps of all sorts, from those found in restaurant soda fountain machines to those used in the bilges of commercial fishing boats.
