Art as Activism Films to be Screened Feb 1

Don't miss viewing the top ten films submitted to the second annual Art as Activism Film Contest sponsored by Leading Ladies, tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1 at 7 pm at The Cabot in Beverly. Support these young change makers as they share their art and activism with our community.

The films, submitted by Massachusetts high school students, have been judged by professional filmmakers Kevin Carey, a professor at Salem State University; Reginald Jackson, professor emeritus at Simmons University; Jen Kaplan, principal of Spencer Films in Greater Boston; and Sheridan Philipp, award-winning director of short films in New Orleans. The top three films will receive cash prizes.
