Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization providing the highest level of critical care transport by air and ground to patients in need—regardless of their circumstances. For more than 40 years, since our founding in 1985, we have set the standard for clinical excellence, safety, and compassion in the air medical industry. Our tagline, “Your Life. Whether responding to an emergency scene or transferring a critically ill patient between hospitals, our team delivers seamless, patient-centered care during some of the most challenging moments in a person’s life. As a nonprofit, we are guided by one unwavering principle: every patient deserves access to lifesaving care, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Each year, Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and unreimbursed care, ensuring no patient is ever turned away. Our clinical teams are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world, caring for patients of all ages—from premature infants to older adults—across a wide range of conditions. These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. We achieve this excellence through rigorous training and preparedness. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

"BIKEncerto: a concerto for solo bicycle and orchestra"Ft. Reynaliz Herrera &amp; Ideas, Not Theories Reynaliz Herrera is a musical artist, percussionist &amp; composer based in Somerville, MA. She is also the founder &amp; artistic director, composer and lead performer of the theatrical percussion company for unconventional instruments, “Ideas, Not Theories”.Reynaliz’s work focuses extensively on the use of the bicycle as a musical instrument, and her creative process and goal in general, has been to explore and research the musical bike’s different capabilities by composing and performing her own bicycle music. She performs these compositions with her company “Ideas, Not Theories”.At The Cabot, Reynaliz will be performing her composition entitled “BIKEncerto: a concerto for solo bicycle and orchestra” an inventive work that reimagines the bicycle as a virtuosic percussion musical instrument. In this captivating performance, Herrera will appear as the bicycle percussion soloist, joined by her ensemble “Ideas, Not Theories”, performing as the concerto’s orchestra of strings and woodwinds. Structured in four movements, BIKEncerto explores the surprising musical possibilities of the bicycle — its melodic spokes, frame tubes, tuned tires, chainwheels, and wheel rims, transformed into a rich palette of rhythm, color and texture. Each movement highlights a different sonic character of the instrument, revealing how everyday objects can become vehicles for complex and sophisticated musical expression. By treating bicycles and unconventional percussion with the same seriousness and artistic care as traditional orchestral instruments, Herrera invites audiences to listen differently, discovering beauty, nuance and virtuosity in unexpected places.A 15 min Q&amp;A session will follow the performance of the piece. They completed a Doctorate of Music Arts degree in Viola Performance from the Hartt School, graduating with the Regents’ Honor Award - the most prestigious award that the University of Hartford bestows on graduate students. They regularly film drag story hours and interview local residents at Ipswich Community Access Media, perform with the Cape Ann Symphony and Nonconformist Orchestra (the first and only transgender/non-binary, LGBTQ+ and minority inclusive professional orchestra), and serve on the Ipswich Cultural Council Board. We all have a wish to be happy and avoid suffering. Throughout our lives, we travel many different paths driven by this desire: career, relationships, home, vacations, etc. But ultimately, these external paths do not yield the results we seek.
During these introductory Dharma talks and meditation sessions, we will discuss the internal paths that can lead to discovering real happiness and a more meaningful life.
Join longtime Kadampa Buddhist practitioner, Tim Hogarty, to:

The 10 members of No Static have performed the music of Steely Dan since 2005. Thousands of Dan lovers young and old have experienced the excitement they bring to every performance. Appearing at first-tier venues across New England and beyond, this talented band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike.
Based in Boston, No Static is&nbsp;one of the top Steely Dan tribute bands in the country. These dedicated musicians specialize in expertly performing the music of Steely Dan, re-creating that amazing bluesy jazz-rock sound invented by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. As Dan fans know, this is no small feat. The music is complex, spanning genres, requiring precise attention to musical detail, with subtle grooves, sophisticated vocal harmonies, iconic solos, and time and key changes popping up when least expected. Steely Dan is not an easy band to pay tribute to.
No Static has been nailing it for over 20 years now and their sold-out shows tell the tale. With passion and warmth they cover the breadth of Steely Dan’s great catalog, attracting some of Boston’s finest musicians, and working with guest performers including Steely Dan band members Walt Weiskopf (saxophonist) and Jon Herington (Music Director/guitarist).

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide hands-on care for a 67-year-old woman with advanced early-onset Alzheimer&rsquo;s. Nancy has a rare neurological form of dementia that has caused severe motor impairment and loss of verbal communication. She requires full support with all activities of daily living (ADLs). 
Open Shifts:
&middot;Tuesday: 4:00 PM &ndash; 7:00 PM
&middot;Saturday: 12:30 PM- 6:00 PM
&middot;Sunday: 8:00 AM PM &ndash; 1:00 PM 
(Hourly Pay: starts at $23.25/hr paid over the table based on qualifications and experience)
Location: Beverly, MA
Please note: These hours and rates are specific to the family's care needs and budget, and unfortunately cannot be changed. We kindly ask that only those who are available for the listed shifts and comfortable with the outlined pay apply.
Key Responsibilities:
&middot;Safely operate a sit-to-stand and Hoyer lift (training provided)
&middot;Assist with toileting and incontinence care (every 2 hours)
&middot;Administer medications as directed
&middot;Feed meals and snacks (spoon-fed; food is ground)
&middot;Assist with hydration (cup must be held)
&middot;Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
&middot;Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
&middot;Communicate effectively and respectfully with other caregivers at shift changes
Qualifications:
&middot;Prior experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer&rsquo;s, dementia, or other serious neurological conditions
&middot;Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
&middot;Must be able to bend, kneel, and assist with physical care tasks
&middot;Dependable, compassionate, and proactive
&middot;Excellent communication and teamwork skills
&middot;Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
