Back To School: Beverly 2023-24 School Calendar

BEVERLY, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Beverly, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day at Beverly High School, Beverly Middle School and the elementary schools.

The first day of school for most students in Beverly is Aug. 30.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Beverly Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 30 for Grades 1-9 (virtual Grades 10-12)

Aug. 31 for grades 10-12

Sept. 6 for kindergarten and preschool

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23 through Nov. 26 (early release on Nov. 22)

Winter Break: Dec. 22 through Jan. 1

February Break: Feb. 19 through Feb. 23

April Break: April 15 through April 19

HS Graduation Day: June 2

Last Day: June 18; with five snow days June 26, including Juneteenth holiday on June 19

No School Days: Labor Day break Sept. 1 through Sept. 4, Yom Kippur Sept. 25, Primary Election Day Sept. 26, Columbus/Indigenous Peoples' Day Oct. 9, Veterans Day Nov. 10, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 15, Presidential Primary March 5, Good Friday March 29, Memorial Day May 27.
