Best-Selling Beverly Author Returns Home For Horror Comic Signing

Beverly native Jeremy Robinson will visit Paper Asylum on Cabot Street for a signing tied to his comic series.

BEVERLY, MA — Beverly native and New York Times bestselling author Jeremy Robinson is returning to his hometown next month for a signing event tied to the trade paperback release of NECTAR, his horror comic book series from Breakneck Comics and Vault Comics.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. at Paper Asylum, 260 Cabot Street in Beverly.

NECTAR was the first release from Robinson's Breakneck Comics production house. The series, which features artwork by Italian artists Annapaola Martello and Francesco Francini, is set on Misery Island, off the coast of Salem, and centers on a nineteenth-century butterfly infestation that spreads the deadly Dancing Plague, where the creatures develop a taste for human blood.

The comic has required a third printing to meet demand, and has drawn attention as Robinson expands his comics line.

"I'm looking forward to coming home, meeting new fans and old friends, visiting Lynch Park, and of course, stopping in for some Nick's Famous Roast Beef," Robinson said.

Paper Asylum, a locally owned shop specializing in graphic novels, manga and pop culture collectibles, will host the event.

The Beverly stop adds a hometown note to the release for Robinson, who has written more than 90 novels in the science fiction, horror and thriller genres.

Robinson is a top Audible and New York Times bestselling author whose work has been published in 14 languages.

His Project Nemesis series is being adapted for television by Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick films, and Sony Pictures Television.

Robinson launched Breakneck Comics in 2023 and partnered with Vault Comics to bring titles, including "EXCOMMUNICATED" and "NECTAR" to the comic genre.
