Beverly 5th Grade Boys Basketball Team Crushes Competition
1st Place Awarded to Undefeated Beverly Boys in 6th Annual Hoopball Classic Basketball Tournament

The Beverly 5th grade boys travel basketball team returned home from Martin Luther King Jr. weekend as champions of the 6th Annual Junior Hoophall Classic held in Springfield, Mass. The tournament features some of the best basketball teams from New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
The 10-boy roster took home the title with a swarming defense and transition offense.
Having defeated each team they faced in pool play, the Beverly Panthers were the top-seeded team in the semi-finals and championship games.

The tournament was capped off with a weekend trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame followed by the championship game played at center court at the Basketball Hall of Fame.
