Beverly To Begin Hydrant Flushing This Week
Flushing will begin weekday nights in North Beverly and continue across the city over the next few weeks.
BEVERLY, MA — Beverly residents can expect a little water discoloration over the next few weeks as the Department of Public Service embarks on its annual hydrant-flushing campaign.
Flushing will begin on Monday and continue from 7 to 10 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks.
Flushing will begin with hydrants in North Beverly and progress across the city until completed.

If water discoloration occurs, residents should run cold water until it runs clear. Residents are reminded not to use hot water until the faucet runs clear.
