Beverly Bootstraps Expands Thrift Shop Hours To Support Services

The thrift shop is adding to the time it is open and when it accepts donations.

BEVERLY, MA — The thrift shop at Beverly Bootstraps is expanding its hours to help provide more opportunities for donations and shopping for those in need or those looking for a good second-hand bargain to support a good cause.

The shop at 198 Rantoul Street will be open for shopping Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations will be accepted in the thrift shop parking lot Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Those donating are asked not to leave items outside of business hours.

"The Beverly Bootstraps Thrift Shop offers an exciting and ever-changing array of high-quality, gently-used clothing and household goods available at great prices," Beverly Bootstraps marketing coordinator Ivana Ohara said. "Not only does the Thrift Shop provide low-cost necessities to those in need in our community, but it is also open to the public to enjoy a good deal."

All proceeds help fund the important programs and services of Beverly Bootstraps.

Beverly Bootstraps is also in the midst of its 22nd annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive.

Serving Beverly, Manchester, Essex, Hamilton and Wenham, Beverly Bootstraps will fill the backpacks with much-needed donated school supplies.

Items will be distributed starting on Aug. 17 via curbside pickup at the Beverly Bootstraps location on Park Street. Those who would like to apply to receive a backpack are encouraged to call 978-927-1561.
