Beverly Cabot Street Intersection Detours Set For Saturday Night
The detours at the Cabot Street/Dodge Street/County Way intersection will begin Saturday at 6 p.m.
BEVERLY, MA —Road construction will shut down Cabot Street at the Dodge Street/County Way intersection Saturday night.
The state Department of Transportation said road work will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday and continue until Sunday at 6 a.m. for paving.
Northbound traffic on Cabot Street heading toward Dodge Street will continue straight on Cabot Street, take a right on Conant Street and continue back toward Dodge Street.

Northbound traffic on McKay Street will be detoured right onto Balch Street and continue to Cabot Street.
Southbound traffic on Dodge Street will continue straight onto County Way, take a left on McKay Street, a left on Balch Street and then continue to Cabot Street.

Southbound traffic on Cabot Street will be detoured right to Tremont Street, left to Ellsworth Street, right to County Way, left to McKay Street, left to Balch Street and back to Cabot Street.
Longmeadow Road traffic heading toward Cabot Street will be detoured to Sonning Road, right to Longview Drive and then continue to Cabot Street.
Drivers in the area should reduce speed and expect delays.
The work is being conducted as part of a $6.3 million project for intersection improvements.
