(Beverly)- The Beverly Community Council is hosting its Kick Off Luncheon on Community Policing Thursday, October 8th, 2015 on 90 Colon Street in Beverly, from 12:00-1:30pm. Join the Police Chief LeLacheur, Police Captain Negrotti, Bob Broudo of Community Advisory Council and Andrea’ Rhoades of North Shore CDC to learn about how members of the community can work with the police.

The Beverly Community Council’s mission is to foster communication and cooperation between members and the greater Beverly community. Through education, advocacy, and action, the Beverly Community Council has anticipated and met the needs of its residents by teaming up with nonprofits and local government agencies.

“This is a great opportunity for Beverly residents to learn about their community, identify any problems, and collaboratively create solutions,” said Andrea Rhoades, North Shore CDC’s Community Engagement Coordinator.

The luncheon encompasses a chance to discuss the community with the four panelists over a brown bagged lunch, or the included lunch for a fee of $5 for non-members.
